Drama is incorporated into many aspects of the school's English and arts offerings. Acting, student directing, stage design and lighting are all areas where students with an interest in the performing arts may gain experience. Grier's drama class prepares short skits which are performed during morning assemblies throughout the school year. These skits, often based on student-produced scripts, help to liven the start of the school day.

Musical Theatre: Through the study of Musical Theatre history and productions, students learn to perform and, eventually direct and stage musical productions. We incorporate acting exercises and the Stanislavsky “Method” in our approach to making the moment real. We frequently perform selected productions for the school assembly.
