Student Services

Grier School has a number of student organizations which add a rich variety of experiences to the life of a student. Perhaps the most important student organization is the Student Council. A student council is elected each year to be the voice of the students in the administration of the school. Headed by four senior student council members, the group works in close contact with faculty and administrators to help enrich the daily life of students in our school. Matters discussed can range in topic from such issues as menus selection in the kitchen to community service projects aimed at benefitting people outside of our immediate school community. Though each grade in Grier School has a student council representative, the senior representatives have some additional challenges. They sit as active members in the discipline committee which convenes in the event that a student makes a serious infraction of the school rules.
