GENERAL INFORMATION

We offer a seven-week, intensive program that integrates ESL, TOEFL, and SAT.  Students attend five hours daily of English instruction with an hour of supervised study in the evening.  The student to teacher ratio in the TOEFL/ESL/SAT program is 8:1, or lower, to provide for individualized instruction.  (Shorter sessions are available depending on local school calendars.)

In our TOEFL/ESL/SAT Program, we use a variety of materials, up-to-date language learning techniques as TOEFL/ESL Program director holds degrees from the University of California at Berkeley (M.A.), Middlebury College (B.A.), and is ESL Certified (Scotland).

For advanced students, we offer an unabridged literature course as an introduction to taking mainstream English classes with American students in September.  This prepares an international student for the rigors of studying material like Shakespeare, American and British poets, and contemporary literature.
