Ceramics

Students in the ceramics class, in the art department, start work with simple projects using slab and coil techniques to create objects of utility or display. As their confidence with clay develops, they move into the pottery studio which houses eight student wheels and Mrs. Zimbler's elevated pottery wheel. By the end of the course, students are proficient in the use of the pottery wheel.
