9/24- Soccer, tennis, and volleyball all went to Mercersburg Academy this weekend to battle the Blue Storm on their own turf. It was the first match of the season for Grier and Mercersburg’s fourth game. While we did lose in three straight sets with each set our ladies lost their nervousness and gained more confidence. By the middle of the third set we were neck and neck. Next Wednesday we battle St. Joseph at home. (0-1) for the season thus far.

9/28- Tonight was our second match of the season against St. Joseph. This evening was also our first home game for the volleyball team. Thanks to focus, hard work, and some great fans we were able to take the win in four sets. Coming up Saturday the 1st is the Bearcat Invitational in Huntingdon, PA. It is our first tournament so our girls are nervous and excited. Our match-ups for Saturday will be challenging but I know the ladies will step up and make me proud. Season thus far is (1-1).

10/1- Today was our very first volleyball tournament. This morning the girls loaded a bus at 7:00 a.m. and headed to Huntington, PA for an all day volleyball tournament. The tourney was a round robin where the top two teams from the two starting pools advanced to the finals. Thanks to some hard work and scrappy play our girls fought their way to second place in our bracket and took us into the finals! In the end we finished tied for fourth overall. I am immensely proud of the girls’ performance this weekend. They battled against schools twice their size and experience and prevailed. Nice work ladies!
