Girls can take trips to nearby stores or restaurants. Every few weeks a trip is scheduled to places as distant as New York City, Pittsburgh, or Washington.

All-girls Education
"Well, being in an all-girls school was a very liberating experience. It allowed girls to experience freedom - physical, spiritual and emotional. Because there were no male students, we had the freedom to be who we want to be emotionally. Physically we were not limited in sports nor in the classroom and nor were we expected to spiritually adopt the "female" norms in school. The experience gave us a confident voice and the belief that we can do whatever we want to do because we are women. The growth and independence at an all-girls school is just phenomenal. Plus, the experience is essential for every girl to become a self-assured and self-respected woman."
