You Make a Difference

After a half day of classes, the whole school gathered together in the Dance Building for a very special ceremony called "You Make a Difference." Counseling Department Chair, Ms. Cari Crago, opens the ceremony by telling a touching story of how small kindnesses can have very big impacts.
To honor seniors students and to understand how these seniors have each made a difference to someone in the Grier community, the audience watched a film produced by digital video teacher, Mr. Don Neumuller. The film began with photos and interviews with Grier seniors about their Grier experiences and favorite things. Next, members of Grier's facutly and staff shared their special moments with members of the class of 2016.

Finally, each teacher called a senior student by name to receive a special ribbon to wear, a ribbon to give to someone else who made a difference in their life, and a copy of the school yearbook.

After there ceremony conclued, the rest of the school was invited to pick up their yearbooks, a product of Mr. James Pingry's yearbook class, and enjoy the sunny afternoon.
