Local Amusement Park Trip for 7th & 8th Graders
While upperclass students prepared for graduation weekend, the seventh and eigth graders visited local attraction, DelGrosso's Amuseument Park. A short drive from Grier, this park was the perfect opportunity for Grier's youngest students to celebrate the end of the school year and burn off some energy before hunkering down for final exams.
The students enjoyed the warm weather, the tasty DelGrosso's food, arcade games, and plenty of thrill rides, including the newest addition: The Rock Star that soars 55 feet above the midway and back to the ground, making a complete circle.

The Rock Star is a spectacular thrill ride that elevates riders 55' above the midway, on top of a flying platform. Attached to a swinging arm that looks like the neck of a guitar, The Rock Star gives riders a unique free-fall experience as the platform whisks toward the ground after making a full circular, clockwise motion.
