Grier Archers Aim for to Qualify at Cardinal Clash
Varsity archers Lauren S. and Shannan L. accompanied their coach Ms. Katt Barr on Saturday to the Annual Cardinal Clash of Archers where they competed against other area archers with their scores counting toward a state-level qualification.
Pine Grove Area Middle School hosted the 3rd Annual Cardinal Clash of Archers, an event for which Middle School archers from surrounding schools compete. High school students, such as Grier's Lauren S. and Shannan L., were also able to compete, but could not win any prizes.
Lauren's overall score was 277/300.
Shannon's score was 269/300.
Grier archers will attend more qualifying shoots in the coming weeks, including one in Johnstown on January 28th where Lauren and Shannan will be joined by new Grier archer Olivia A. Please wish our archers good luck!

- She was the only 12th grade girls shooter
- 5th overall shooter for the day
