110829ZientekEmily Zientek, Grier's Riding Director since December of 2002. Emily has been able to help the riding program grow into what is is today. She was bitten by the "Horse Bug", while riding spirited Arabians around the pyramids at Giza on weekends during her youth. Emily followed her passions to Meredith Manor International Equestrian Center in West Virginia. There, she received many teaching and training honors and completed a Riding Master VI. She went on to work in San Antonio, TX for Lt. Col. John W. Russell, Olympic Medalist, and a member of the Show Jumping Hall of Fame. While training and riding in Texas, Emily was also lucky enough to help coach the riding portion of the United States Modern Pentathlon Olympic Team. Emily is very involved in the Interscholastic Equestrian Association, and currently sits as president-elect on the board of directors.  She is also a USHJA certified trainer.
