Recognizing the importance of STEM in preparing students for the future job market, Grier is developing an IT Corridor
. The vision for this expansion of existing space includes a 3D printing lab, Robotic Engineering facility, and classrooms for teaching Computer Science courses, including AP Computer Science.
- IT Corridor Development – make a contribution of any amount toward the design and build of the IT Corridor. A Leadership Contribution of $25,000 has already been made towards this project, leaving the remaining approx. cost: $25,000
- Robotics - cable packs, medium motors, ultrasonic, color sensors, IR beacons, IR sensors, IR remote controls, IR speed remotes. Approx. cost: $542
- Biology - Expand our current cell culture facility and increase students' understanding of cutting-edge molecular biology concepts like CRISPR, PCR, DNA isolation and more.
