Parents' Weekend 2019
Grier welcomed families of students to campus for its annual Parents' Weekend. The weekend featured entertainment, information, family bonding and more!
In honor of the occasion, Grier's Signature Programs of Riding, Music, and Dance performed over the course of the two-day event. Riding kicked-off the weekend with an exhibition on Friday, followed by the Music department's concert.
Parents of junior students learned the nuances of college admissions when they attended a special College Admissions Seminar presented on Saturday morning by Mrs. Cheryl Price and Ms. Kitty Moyer, Grier's College Counselors.
On Saturday afternoon, parents met teachers and learned about their daughters' classes and schedule. Grier's Student Government officers opened doors and helped guide parents to classrooms across campus. Members of clubs set up tables in the Auditorium to provide information and to fundraise through raffle ticket sales. The Dance Performance that followed was the perfect finale to the schedule. Saturday evening was intentinally left open so that families could enjoy one-on-one time with their Grier girls!
Thank you, famlies, students, and teachers for a great Parents' Weekend!
