Grier Students Receive National Merit® Scholarship Letters of Commendation
Congratulations to three Grier students that received letters of commendation from the 2021 National Merit® Scholarship Program. Grier’s Liza E., Isabella F., and Nodoka M. received this recognition for the exceptional academic promise demonstrated by their outstanding performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®) last October.
“Those being named Commended Students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success,” commented a spokesperson form NMSC. “These students represent a valuable national resources; recognizing their accomplishments, as well as the key role their schools play in their academic development, is vital to the advancement of educational excellence in our nation. We hope that this recognition will help broaden their educational opportunities and encourage them as they continue the pursuit of academic success.”
This year’s 10th and 11th grade Grier students will take the 2021 PSAT at Grier next week. The exam will give the students practice for the SAT exam and a chance to receive recognition and scholarships.
Fantastic job, Liza, Isabella, and Nodoka! Grier is very proud of you!
