In honor of Lunar New Year, a major holiday celebrated by many of Grier’s Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese and East Asian-American students, Grier offered special treats to students in the living room following classes on Monday. February 12, 2021 marked the beginning of the new Lunar New Year, which is represented by the Ox. The feng shui master says the metal element can represent anything from jewelry to the needle of a syringe, while the ox, in Chinese culture, signifies hard work and movement.
