Grier Computer Teacher Receives Award
Grier's computer and robotics teacher Ms. Carol Deremer was recently recognized as a "Woman of Distinction" by Delta Kappa Gamma, an educational, professional organization for women educators!
On June 11, Ms. Deremer was one of nine women in the entire state of Pennsylvania to receive this honor! She was recognized for her work in developing the Computer Science Department at Grier School and for the school being awarded the AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award three years in a row.
To receive the "Women of Distinction" honor, women also have to have an impact on their local community and Ms. Deremer was sited for her leadership role in her church and in other ministries. Congratulations to Carol Deremer, a truly valued member of our Grier School community!
