On Friday evening, Grier’s Art Department hosted a show of select Grier student artwork. Students in grades 7-12 created the pieces in art classes offered at Grier. Guests to the show enjoyed refreshments as they browsed the works of art organized by class. Students, teachers, resident advisors, and friends and family attended the special event, the first of its kind in recent memory. Those involved with the show promoted it during the week with posters and announcements. Guests enjoyed the opportunity to see first-hand the amazing talent of Grier artists and to speak with many of the artists in attendance.
3D Design, AP Art Portfolio, Costume Design, Drawing, Fiber Arts, Graphic Arts, Jewelry, Mask Making, Painting, Photography, Print Making, Pottery, and Video Production classes submitted pieces for the show.
