Basketball Team Versus the Faculty

Grier's Varsity Basketball Team bravely challenged the Faculty to a game.  With their honor at stake, the faculty members dominated the students, winning 54 to 34. Coach Wyland scored 24 points, while Coach Wilson had 18, and Mr. Lang had 15 assists. Ashley L led the students in scoring 15 points, and Jenna P had 7. The faculty team was made up of only six teachers who all played excellent defense; however, by the third quarter, the students had started to wear down those teachers. The girls played great defensively, did great as a team, and took many good shots. The gym was full of students and teachers cheering for everyone. It was an amazing atmosphere!
