The Library-led school reading program called “One School, One Story" challenges everyone in the Grier community to read the same book as a shared experience.

This year’s OSOS title is:

Wolfpack: How to Come Together, Unleash Our Power, and Change the Game
by Abby Wambach

Abby Wambach is a US Olympic Gold Medalist and all-time leading international goal scorer, man or woman. She joined the national team in 2001 and quickly rose to the ranks of soccer greats like Mia Hamm, Michelle Akers, Kristine Lilly and Tiffeny Milbrett. She has received six US Soccer  Athlete of the Year awards, the prestigious Associated Press Athlete of the Year title, and FIFA World Player of the Year

As co-captain of the 2015, Wambach helped transform individual women into "one fo the most successful, powerful, and united wolfpacks of all time." The book is based on her viral Barnard commencement speech. She encourages women to ditch the "old rules of the game," unleash their power and change the game, working together as a wolfpack.
