Regatta Tests Students' Understanding of Physics Concepts

Mrs. Brubaker’s ISOP science classes held their boat competition yesterday! Each group designed their boats based on class lessons on buoyancy, density, and other physics concepts. The girls built their boats from mostly recycled materials!  They used water bottles, among other things!  Both teams’ boats held up against gravity and made it the entire way across the pool and sailed into the afternoon!  Way to go, ISOP girls!
