Grier Giving Back
Grier students met at the Coffee House after school to work on a Grier Giving Back community service project to help the The Blair/Clearfield Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired ( BCAB). Grier has been a partner with the BCAB for years, helping the nonprofit enhance the quality of life for visually-impaired individuals throughout the community through advocacy, free educational programs, low cost eyewear and more!
The students met Calculus teacher Mrs. Danielle Kelley in the Coffee House for the big task of envelop stuffing. The students had to stuff envelopes with information about the BCAB and organize them by zip code for bulk rate postage. In a year when off-campus opportunities to help the community are limited, the students were especially happy to help in this way.
