Grier Represents at Model UN Conference
Grier's Model UN team traveled to Georgetown University for the North American Invitational Model United Nations (NAIMUN) where they represented the country of Switzerland. The team was also invited to visit the Embassy of Bahrain.
Grier's Model UN team represented the central European nation of Switzerland in the conference's World Trade Organization, UN Habitat, UN Olympic Committee, and the Atomic Regulatory Commission.
The club's advisor, History teacher Mrs. Suzanna Long said that this is Grier Model UN's first time to be invited to the Georgetown NAIMUN. In the past, the team has attended conferences at Gannon University, the University of Pittsburgh, the University of Pennsylvania, and Johns Hopkins University.
