Crochet Pattern Dedicated to Class of 2020

While working from home, Grier’s Mrs. Woolfrey was inspired to create a crochet pattern in honor of the Grier students. Like their mascot, the students of Grier are fast, graceful, and agile athletes, riders, and dancers. They are clever and highly intelligent problem solvers. Foxes, like Grier students and alumnae, are found worldwide, on six continents.
Mrs. Woolfrey misses seeing the Grier students in person as they visit the library to borrow books, visit friends, study, and develop their information literacy skills through research assignments with their English and ESL classes. The seniors of 2020, of course, hold a very special place in her heart and she dedicates her pattern to them.

Dozens of Grier students have enjoyed learning crochet in knitting club and fiber arts classes. While everyone is at home, Mrs. Woolfrey suggests anybody interested in learning this fun and relaxing hobby check out some of the great crochet tutorials freely available online. When the doors of Grier are open once again, take a look at the library’s terrific collection of books on all levels of crochet and knitting!

In honor of Grier students, Mrs. Woolfrey would like to make her pattern available free to Grier family and friends. The PDF will be available for the next month. Download the free Fox Crochet Pattern PDF and start crocheting today!
