Books-to-Movies 2016

Hollywood loves to transform books into movies, with mixed results. Sometimes films based on books enrich a reader's experience by bringing to life beloved characters, while other times, fans are disappointed by movie adaptations that fail to deliver. Most of have said it at one time or another I liked the book better than the movie!
You can judge for yourself whether the film adaptation did the book justice when you read any of these books, which have either been recently adapted for the screen or whose movie versions are in development or production.
