Members of Grier's Running Club participated in the Hollidaysburg Area YMCA's Bud Shuster Run for your Life Race Saturday, April 22nd. Grier students Tess M., Nora V., Maria L., Ngan N., and Running Club advisor Ms. Taylor Leen ran the unique two-mile race up the major roadway, Route 36.
The Grier runners did well. Tess M. had a exceptionally great day, taking the prize for top woman runner. Nora and Maria ranked second and third in their group, respectively.
The race was part of the Hollidaysburg Area YMCA's Community Wellness Challenge Series. The race's namesake, former U.S. Representative Bud Shuster, was on site to present medals to the winners.
