Grier's "Spamalot" Nominated for 10 ISAAC Awards!

Grier is so excited to announce that our spring musical received multiple nominations for the Altoona Community Theatre's (ACT) 13th Annual Isaacs Awards, which recognize excellence in high school musical theatre. For the spring musical Spamalot, Grier received ten nominations across nine different categories.
Judges from ACT watched high school musical productions in Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Centre, Clearfield, and Huntingdon counties before announcing the nominees from twenty area schools. The ISAAC Awards span two nights of performances on the Benzel Stage of Altoona's Historic Mischler Theatre Saturday, May 26th and Sunday, May 27th. Two students from each school will perform a group opening number and each school will perform one number from their production, similar to the Tony Awards format.

ACT will award $1000 Scholarships to each winner of the six individual categories and will randomly present two schools with $1000 towards their 2018-2019 production budget.
