Varsity Riders Compete in Last Show of Season
Grier Varsity riders Sophia K., Linnea K., Grace W., Sydney R., Alyssa S., Ali S., and Jimena P. competed at the St. Christopher’s Horse Show hosted by Swan Lake Stables in Littlestown, Pennsylvania. This was their last show of the season. Congratulations to the Varsity Riders on a successful weekend showing.
Linnea was Reserve Champion in the Pre-Adult Hunters with a first in her jumping. Sydney won a jumping class in the Modified Pre Child Hunters and was 7th in the Marshall and Sterling Pre Child Medal. Sophia was 7th in the USEF Medal, 3rd in the Gittings Medal, 3rd in the NCEA Medal and 9th in the $1500 High Child Jumper classic. Grace was first in her Marshal and Sterling Pre Child Medal as well as the CPJHSA Medal . Ali was Reserve Champion in the Low Hopeful Jumpers. Alyssa had multiple thirds in the Pre Children's Hunters. Jimena received great ribbons in the High Hopeful Jumpers including a 7th in the Classic. Great job, girls!
Congratulations also goes to Mallory E. for winning first place in Third Level at the Blue Goose USDF rated dressage show. Mallory is now only one score away from her USDF Bronze Medal!
Further congratulations to the riders who traveled to the New Jersey Classic Show. Mallory E. won her Second Level dressage test. Lareina Y. was champion in the Academy Division with her horse "Playboy" and Judy W. was Reserve Champion with "Spike". Amy L. and Ann S. received many good ribbons in the same division. For some of these riders, it was their first horse show off campus and they did amazing!
Riders also shared a few photos of horses Bella, Hoot, and Phoebe and a video of practice for the Western Semi-Finals that happened earlier this spring.
