Grier is pleased to reportthat Spamalot took home three wins the Altoona Community Theatre's (ACT) 13th Annual Isaacs Awards. The awards recognize excellence in high school musical theatre. For the spring musical Spamalot, Grier received ten nominations across nine different categories and received wins for Actor or Actress in a Featured Role, Achievement in Choreography, and Best Featured Dance.
Judges from ACT watched high school musical productions in Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Centre, Clearfield, and Huntingdon counties before announcing the nominees from twenty area schools. Grier students performed on stage and learn the results during the Saturday Night Isaac Award ceremony on May 26th. Musical Director Mrs. Ginger Reinhardt presented Grier's own award for MVP to Katie M.

This is Grier's second time participating in the Isaac Awards. Last year, Sister Act received ten nominations and won six awards. Congratulations to Musical Theatre Director Mrs. Reinhardt, Grier’s Dance Program, the nominated students, and to all that had a part in Spamalot’s success.
