Success for Grier Equestrians

The Grier School Equestrian Team experiences success both at home and on the road at both the high school and middle school level and in both Hunt Seat and Western competitions. Grier is so proud of these amazing riders!

During the season home opener, both the high school and middle school teams were Saturday Champions. The same day, Sarah L was Reserve High Point rider for the high school, while Grace W was High Point Middle School rider. On Sunday, the high school team was Reserve Champion and the Middle School finished with the title Champion. Sara L was once again the Reserve High Point rider. Rachel P received the Sportsmanship Award. First place finishers over the course of the weekend included Camilla F, Grace W., Sara L, Ann S, Marcella B, Lilly F, Sophia K, Jimena P, Judy W, Kayla M, and Paige M.

Recently the High School Hunt Seat Team traveled to Bloomsburg where they earned the title Reserve Champion on Saturday and Champion on Sunday. Lilly F was Reserve High Point rider on Saturday, while Jimena P was High Point Rider on Sunday. The Grier School Western teams took both High School and Middle School Champion titles on Saturday and Sunday! Briana K was Reserve High Point Middle School rider on Saturday. First place finishers for the weekend include Lilly F, Jimena P, Sophia K, Courtney M, and Mary T.
