Grier Archers Compete at Williams Valley

Archery is a popular recreational sport option at Grier and coach Ms. Barr provides the participants opportunities to participate in competitive tournaments. Senior Lauren S and sophomores Liza E, Nodoka M, and Gia S traveled to Tower City, Pennsylvania, where they represented Grier School in the National Archery in Schools Program (NASP) State Qualifier tournament hosted by Williams Valley High School on Saturday, January 12th. The tournament was open to girls and boys in middle and high school, each hoping to do their personal best and competing for points that could earn them a place in the state competition. What a great experience!
