Musicians and Vocalists Perform Individual Recitals

As the first semester came to a close, many student musicians and vocalists gave individual music recitals in the Music Building for the Grier community audience of the course of two days. Performances help motivate musicians to persevere through challenging pieces and the applause of an audience is a wonderful reward!

“Betsy’s Getting Married” from Honeymoon in Las Vegas by Jason Robert Brown
Ashley S., voice

“My Sister’s New Red Hat” from A Horse With Wings by Ricky Ian Gordon

These students take music lessons during the academic day from teachers including Mrs. Ginger Reinhardt, Ms. Julia Natoli, Mr. Mick Dennis, Mr. Paul Kim, Mr. Greg Folsom, Ms. Carolyn Sepp, Mrs. Cathy Scafidi, Mr. Jordan Thompson, Mrs. Wang, and others. Because of hours of practice and great dedication, the student musicians gave beautiful performances. Bravo!
